Doug Beck is an internationally recognized Remixer, Producer, Composer and Mixer.
Doug, along with partner DJ Boris (Boris & Beck), produced #1 chart-topping remixes for the likes of Pink, Jewel, Depeche Mode, New Order, The Rolling Stones, Shania Twain, Salt n Pepa, and many more. Doug also wrote and produced Billboard #1 club classics singles Fabulous (Guide Your Rocket), WONDERBOX's Turn Me Over and RENEE STAKEY'S Rainy Day. Doug was honoured with a nomination for a Billboard Music Award for his remix of Thalia's "Baby, I'm in Love." Additionally, Doug was called upon by music legends Daryl Hall and John Oates to spend a few weeks at their studio in upstate NY to lend his programming and sound design chops to their Do It For Love release. Doug also produced Fixx Frontman, Cy Curnin's first solo effort, 'The Returning Sun' to rave critical reviews.
Doug relocated to Los Angeles, looking to expand into TV and film work where he amassed an impressive list of credits as a television music composer. His vast musical range has made him the perfect fit for many different types of television projects, from drama to reality. Doug's compositions have been heard on Cold Case, Deadliest Catch, Storage Wars, Gator Boys, Fox's Sports, The E True Hollywood Stories, Rupauls Drag Race, Access Hollywood, Show Me The Money, Celebrity Paranormal Project, and dozens more.
Today, Doug resides in the Las Vegas area, where he founded Sun Swept Music Production House—currently writing, producing and mixing a multitude of projects for various artists, bands and media. In 2022 Doug formed a partnership with composer, musician and singer Cy Curnin (The Fixx) and since the duo has contributed a number of songs and tracks to various projects.
